Graduate of 2024
Bio: I am an environmental studies major currently in my second year at FGCU. As of now, I am partnering with the non profit heal our harbor organization in Port Charlotte Florida to modernize and expand their outreach. I am actively working to find internship opportunities related to soil and water quality, but I have yet to find and commit to one. Since the beginning of my college career, I have had the opportunity to volunteer with numerous organizations benefitting the community. Some of these include propagating a food forest, Shipley trail restoration, maintaining river oaks preserve, and campus and beach clean ups.
Thoughts on my time at Suncoast Technical College: I enjoyed my time in the the digital design program, and I am grateful for the skills to be able to use adobe software’s and have an eye for graphic design. I believe that the experience was valuable for me and I would recommend it to someone else.
