Bio: My journey with digital design began as a creative outlet and became the foundation of my career after earning the SkillsUSA Campaign Design Award and having my artwork displayed at Embracing Our Differences. That experience validated that my skills and vision could make a meaningful impact.
Since then, I’ve built a career in construction, architectural drafting, and low-voltage system design. Along the way, I discovered a deep passion for translating ideas into tangible designs that blend creativity with technical precision.
Thoughts on my time at Suncoast Technical College: I truly enjoyed the program and never felt restricted to a single design concept, thanks to our instructor. She provided a clear structure while still allowing creative freedom, encouraging us to develop our own unique style. Her guidance helped each of us grow into confident designers without losing our individuality.
She was an incredibly supportive mentor who truly helped students transform their ideas into reality while guiding them to develop their own distinct design identity. The program significantly influenced my career path, and I am thankful for how it opened opportunities and helped me realize my true potential. I would recommend the program wholeheartedly and without hesitation.
Current Position: Bright Solutions & Bright Future Electric – I utilize my design background not only in my blueprints but also in applying the principles and design theories throughout my career.
Design opened the door to the beginning of my professional journey. It has created additional opportunities for me, including contributing to web design development and marketing within my company as secondary responsibilities.
